  • What is defrosting?
    • Defrosting is the process of removing the ice from the frozen foods and to bring the temperature of the product to a normal temperature.
    • Using this thawing method, small packages of frozen meat or poultry can defrost in one hour or less. For larger items, you should estimate about 30 minutes of defrosting time per pound of food. Once the food is thawed completely, you’ll need to cook it immediately.
    • Most of Delifrost products are frozen-to-fry items, for them you don’t need to defrost them, you can directly put them in oil and fry them.
  • What if my food is thawed?

    • Most of Delifrost products need to be kept at (18°C/0°F or below) until ready to cook.

  • What is the shelf life of a frozen product?
    • Most of Delifrost products come with a shelf life of 1 year.
  • How long can I travel with the frozen products?
    • Considering the weather condition of Bangladesh, you can easily travel for a hour or two with the frozen products from a shop and then keep it in a freezer at your home to be enjoyed at a later time.
  • What does Trans Fat free mean?
    • Trans fats raise your bad (LDL) cholesterol levels and lower your good (HDL) cholesterol levels.
    • Eating trans fats increases your risk of developing heart disease and stroke. It’s also associated with a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes. They are found naturally in some foods but mostly from foods that are partially hydrogenated. Trans fats act like saturated fat in the body and tend to raise blood cholesterol levels.
    • A food label that indicates 0 trans fats means the product has less than .5 grams of trans fat per serving.
